Train electrical traction system

Train electric traction system is AC driving system controlled by variable voltage and variable frequency (VVVF) inverter. This system adopts vector control, which can realize excellent idling/sliding control function.
      This system is used for B type vehicle, 6 car-bodies (4M2T). Top speed is 100 km/h, using pantograph getting the voltage from network, power supply is DC1500V.
      System characteristic:  
(1) Traction and controlling is car-body control mode. 1C4M mode high-voltage, each VVVF inverter unit provides power supply to four traction motor for M-car.
(2) AC traction motor adopts speed sensorless vector control, the slip/slide controlling is based on the speed calculation.
(3) For electric braking, regenerative braking is priority. As the changing of regeneration absorbing condition, regenerative braking and resistance braking continuous adjustment and smooth transition.
(4) System make full use of the wheel gelling conditions, and according to the train load from empty to overcrowding automatically adjust the value of the traction and regenerative braking, keeping acceleration and braking deceleration basically unchanged. The system can react timely, effectively and reliablely.
      System structure:
      System is composed of HV box, VVVF traction converter, APS auxiliary converter, TCMS train control and monitoring system, traction motor, gear box and other parts.
